Meet Your Inspector
At Sonshine Home Inspections, we believe in providing our clients with thorough and trustworthy home inspections. As a home inspector, I take pride in my work and make sure to follow the Residential Standards of Practice when conducting inspections. My goal is to give my clients the tools they need to maintain their homes, as well as provide them with an understanding of their home's most important components. I am passionate about helping people make sure their house is safe and secure.
Prior to becoming a Certified Licensed home inspector, I had a career in software development and then in construction, home remodeling and repair. This unique blend of experience in software and building practices allows me to produce an efficient, clear and detailed report. I've made the Gulf Coast my home with my family for the past 22 years. Our goal is to provide you with the most accurate report possible to give you peace of mind in your decisions.
Standard Home Inspection
I follow a comprehensive Residential Standards of Practice. This means that I’ll inspect the visible and accessible structure, systems and components of the home, inside and out, from the foundation to the roof, using the latest tools and technology.

Pools and spas require proper maintenance and regular inspection so that you can enjoy them for years to come. Your pool maintenance professional is responsible only for the pool’s chemistry and cleanliness. Let me inspect it for all the other items that will ensure its proper condition and safety.
Roof Inspection
Do you need just a roof inspection performed for insurance or other purposes? I will inspect your roof-covering materials from the ground, roof edges, or I will walk upon the roof to assess its overall condition. I can also conduct a standalone roof inspection and certification.
We Educate Our Clients
During the home inspection, we will show you how everything in your house works, how to maintain it, and how to save home energy. I will include a 100-page home maintenance book along with your home inspection report. Scientific evidence demonstrates a solid relationship between housing conditions and human health. I will make sure your home supports your health.
